Tell us which phone you use and what happened. Never send us a code, PIN or password: we will never ask for one.

Is someone in danger?

Call 112 (or the emergency number of the country you’re in). Havely support can’t help in an emergency. In a guide, the red SOS button shows the address and who to call.

For sitters

Do I need the app or an account?

No. Open the link or scan the QR code the family sent you, and the guide opens in your browser. On an iPhone it can also open as an App Clip, without installing anything. You only need the Havely app if you want to keep guides from families you sit for regularly.

The guide says it’s closed, or the link doesn’t work

Guide links stop working after the sitting, and a family can also close one early. Ask the family for a new link. If the link looks cut off, copy the whole link from the message, or scan the QR code again.

It asks for a PIN

Some families add a 4-digit PIN to their guide. They’ll tell you the PIN themselves; we can’t look it up for you. After 5 wrong tries, wait 15 minutes before trying again.

A code says “available from…”

Codes, such as the alarm code, only show around the sitting: from one hour before it starts until it ends. Until then the rest of the guide is already there for you to read.

What does the family see of what I do?

What you tick off, when you opened the guide and when a code was shown. Not your location, and not your IP address. More in our privacy notice.

Your guide and sharing it

How does my sitter get the guide?

Plan a stay in the app: who is sitting, and from when to when. Havely makes a link and a QR code for that stay. Send the link through WhatsApp, Messages or email, or let your sitter scan the QR code. Want to see what your sitter sees? Have a look at the example.

I sent the link to the wrong person

Close the link in the app: open the stay and close it. It stops working right away. Then make a new stay for your sitter. If you’re worried about a code, change it at home and in your guide.

The sitting runs longer

Extend the stay in the app. The same link keeps working until the new end time.

Can my partner edit the guide too?

Yes. Invite your partner or housemate to your household in the app. You then share the guides; if you both change the same guide at once, Havely makes sure one person’s changes don’t overwrite the other’s.

Your account

What is the Amersan Account?

Havely is made by Amersan, the company behind Maveon. You sign in with one Amersan Account, with Apple, Google or your email address. Already using Maveon? Then you already have one. Your Havely guides stay in Havely; other Amersan apps can’t read them.

I can’t sign in

Check that you use the same way of signing in as before (Apple, Google or email). Still stuck? Email us from the address of your account.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. You can delete only your Havely data, or your whole Amersan Account. No longer have the app? See Delete your account.

Havely Pro

How do I cancel?

Havely Pro is a subscription through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel it there: App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.

Can I get a refund?

Payments go through Apple or Google, so they handle refunds. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, through Google Play. Not working out? Email us and we’ll help you find the way.

New phone: where is my Pro?

Sign in with the same Amersan Account, and restore your purchase in the app with the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.

I was on the waitlist. How do I get the launch offer?

Your first year of Havely Pro is €6.99. We email you how to claim it when Havely launches, on iPhone and on Android.

What if Pro ends in the middle of a sitting?

The sitting keeps working until it ends. After that, your account goes back to the free version; your guides are kept.

Privacy and safety

How are my codes kept safe?

Codes are stored encrypted, apart from the rest of your guide. Your sitter sees one only after tapping it, and only around the sitting; you can see in the app when a code was shown.

Where can I read more?

Everything about your data is in our privacy notice, and the rules for using Havely are in our terms.

I found a security problem
